Having started with Afro Caribbean dances and

Hip-Hop, André ATANGANA a.k.a "ATOR"  made his first performances in afro night clubs during his teenagehood.

​

After his graduation, he joined the International Dance Academy in Paris.

For five years, he learned contemporary and modern dance.

​

Thirsty for art, André learned to photograph, to shoot and to edit videos on his own.

​

The aesthetics of his image influenced by different cultures and his obsession with the movement of the body together created his atypical style.

​

Very quickly spotted in the parisian underground scene, he begins to direct music videos and to collaborate with artists such as Hercules & Love Affair and Kiddy Smile.

At the same time, brands like Martin Margiela, Isabel Marrant and Virgil Abloh hired him as model/dancer for fashion shows.

​​

In 2022, his film “CLUSTER” was selected by Nick Knight for the Spring ShowStudio Fashion Film Showcase.

Since then, he extended his art towards music and created Art Corps Paris. 

​​

Today, ATOR is a multi disciplinary artist navigating between contemporary art, music and fashion world.

​

This year, André will showcase his first photo and video exhibition "UPROOTING" at le Nouveau Printemps de Toulouse, edition 2025.
